We had the great pleasure of visiting Cambridge Eye Care with Dr. Beth Lennox. She graciously showed us around her open concept clinic and introduced her to her friendly staff.
Of note, we were given an introduction to her contact lens station where she showed us the latest technology of blue light filter Acuvue Oasis Max contact lenses, and it exemplified how important it was to find and introduce new technologies to improve patients' quality of life.
Something that was impressive to us was the amount of care that she puts towards her patients, adapting her clinic to better fit their needs. For example, she showed us the equipment involved in dry eye therapy, and we can appreciate how helpful it is to patients to have treatments available so close to them. These treatments included radiofrequency and intense pulsed light.
Most importantly, Dr. Lennox gave us great advice on the business aspects of owning and growing an optometry practice. For example, she had told us how she came to own the clinic, the steps it took to expand the clinic, and the decisions we need to make in order to keep an established clinic relevant within the ever-evolving profession.
We are forever thankful for the opportunity Dr. Lennox provided for us. She was very thorough, open and a fantastic resource, and we are grateful for her guidance.
